After a two-decade hiatus, the world-famous Red Bull Soapbox Race made its triumphant return to the streets of Sarajevo on Sunday, September 6, 2026. Transforming the urban landscape of Alipašino Polje into a high-speed, adrenaline-fueled playground, the event drew tens of thousands of cheering spectators who witnessed “BH Farmeri” claim the ultimate crown.

The 400-meter downhill track stretched from the Novi Grad Police Administration down to the Novi Grad Municipality building. It proved to be a true test of amateur engineering and bravery. Driven purely by gravity, imagination, and a complete lack of fear, 40 local teams put their handmade, engine-free vehicles to the test.

Competitors faced a gauntlet of obstacles, ramps, and sharp turns. While some vehicles crossed the finish line in record time, others disintegrated mid-race to the absolute delight of the roaring crowd.
